It’s time to “save the date” for the 2017 Iowa Institute for Social Action. The Institute is our leadership-training event for advocates of the human life and dignity teachings of the Church. It will be held on Jan. 15-16 (MLK Day) at Saints John and Paul Church in Altoona, IA.

Brian Corbin, Executive Vice-President of Membership Services at Catholic Charities USA, will present the keynote address. Breakout sessions will feature the latest on the social concerns of the Church, including poverty, immigration and protecting the vulnerable.

The Institute follows the Midwest March for Life, held in Des Moines on Jan. 14, 2017. Make it a long weekend!
